BILLING AUTHORIZATION Payment for tuition is due at the time of sign-up. Children will not be put onto the schedule until tuition is paid. Monthly tuition is based on the number of classes available in a calendar month. Rates will vary depending upon how many days are offered in any given month. Main Street Swim does not charge for holidays when we are closed. Upon enrollment you will be put on our recurring billing schedule and will continue to be charged by automatic debit until you log in to the parent portal and request a drop date. You will receive a confirmation from our staff within 48 hours.  All automatic debits will be charged on the 1st of every month for the current month. You may stop your lessons at any time by logging in to the parent portal and requesting a drop date. You will receive a confirmation from our staff within 48 hours. You will need to submit written notice to terminate billing before the 1st of the month in order to discontinue prior to the next billing cycle and you will be responsible for payment whether or not your student attends classes until you notify this facility in writing to drop your student from class(es).

Please note that your card will continue to be debited until we receive your notice of withdrawal. Please inform the office of any credit card changes before the 1st of each month. Please note: Main Street Swim reserves the right to cancel / change certain class times or instructors as deemed necessary.

REGISTRATION FEE: All clients will be charged a non-refundable annual registration fee of $30 per student. This fee will be charged once per calendar year.

Scheduling is family friendly with free make-up classes, no explanations required. Yes, free make-up classes with no explanation required! (We only ask that you are currently enrolled to use make-ups, but no hurry because they don’t expire!)

Make ups are only for students who are currently enrolled. They may be book up to a week in advance. Make up classes are a courtesy and not guaranteed. Please keep in mind that we can not reschedule booked make up classes (no make ups for make ups).

-To mark a student absent, please submit a “future absence” through the parent portal at least one hour before the start of the scheduled class time. This allows others to use your students spot for a make up class.

-Make-up lessons can only be booked after the scheduled absence has occurred.

In those unfortunate occurrences where more than one day is needed for a medical cancellation we allow extended absences.

-Only tuition credits are offered, no refunds unless a medical note is provide.

-A letter from a doctor or hospital explaining the student is not able to swim for a period of time is required. However, a specific diagnosis or any medical information is not necessary out of respect for your privacy.

-In the case of prolonged absences we require you to drop your sessions on the parent portal. When your child is ready to return it will be our pleasure to re-enroll them.

-For the convenience of all of our clients and those waiting for a spot, we do not hold class spaces when your child is not registered.

MAIN STREET SWIM EMERGENCY CANCELLATIONS: If Main Street Swim must cancel a class, we will issue a complimentary make-up that can be scheduled at your convenience, any time during active enrollment. In the event of inclement weather (i.e. intense snow, thunder or a hurricane) or a problem with a pool/rental facility, we may not be able to contact you until class time. Reasons for cancellation can include, but not limited to unpredictable factors like pool water conditions, weather and sanitary accidents.

DROP PROCEDURE: Parents must electronically notify Main Street Swim to drop a student from class. In order to drop a student from class, you must request a drop date prior to the monthly tuition charge for the coming month. (i.e. If you want to drop by June 1, you must notify us by May 31st)

Please note: You must log in to the parent portal and request a drop date prior to the monthly charge on the 1st of the month. Please do not rely on your student or caregiver to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes, verbal drops will not be accepted. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for the additional 30 days. You are responsible for payment of your student's classes whether or not your student attends class until the time you request a drop date through the parent portal and receive confirmation.

WHAT TO WEAR: All children under 3 years of age, or children who are not fully potty-trained must wear a Happy NappyⓇ swim diaper underneath their swimsuit. All swimmers must be wearing a swimsuit in order to enter the water. Please bring your own towel and see the location pages for other site specific policies, i.e. swim cap policies.

SWIM DIAPERS: All children under 3 years of age, or children who are not fully potty-trained are required to wear a Happy NappyⓇ swim diaper underneath their swimsuit.

ARRIVAL: Please be sure your student arrives 10 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while on Main Street Swim rental property. This is not a drop off program.

REFUNDS: We understand that on rare occasions a client may require a refund, refunds may be granted for future classes per site directors discretion. The cost of all lessons prior to the request for the refund will not be refunded and registration fees are non-refundable.

LEVEL PROMOTIONS: We do not have specific class sessions, therefore classes do not end automatically, and kids will be able to learn and progress at their own pace until they move up to the next class level.  In the case that the class members seem to be progressing at the same rate, the instructor may upgrade the class to the next level, while keeping the time and day the same.  It is more likely, however, that kids will progress at different rates and move up to a new level which may be on a different time / day.  The Deck Supervisor or a Main Street Admin will notify parents / guardians in person or via e-mail when this transition needs to occur to get your child set up in the next class.

SAFETY FIRST: Please remain at the pool for the duration of your child’s lesson in case they need to use the bathroom. Outside of their class, all children are the sole responsibility of the parent or caregiver.

Absolutely no running, fighting, shouting or horseplay is allowed before, during or after your child’s lesson.  We share this pool with other organizations, and it is essential that all patrons respect the pool and other classes taking place.  At Main Street clients are not permitted to use the gym, hot tub or locker room, or pool outside of lessons.

If your child is feeling under the weather, specifically experiencing a fever or a contagious illness, please be considerate of others by keeping your child home from lessons for a minimum of 48 hours. If they have had diarrhea within the past two weeks, please do not bring them to the pool.

Please make certain your child has removed all bandages prior to class. If your child has an open cut or other wound, he/she may not be admitted to class.

Please allow students from previous classes to get out of the pool before entering for your scheduled lesson.

Your child should never enter the pool until their teacher is in the water and ready for the next class.
